This is a print of an original hand coloured etching of an Amaryllis or as I know them Hippeastrum.  I have many different coloured Hippies in my garden and this is one of  them. I just love the way they rise out of a bulb almost on the surface of the soil
The soft grey colour on the background is what’s called plate tone. This happens when I polish most of the ink off the metal plate.
The print is backed onto heavy acid free, archival rag and archival ink used for the print
There is an edition of 50 and this one is 1/50.  An edition is when I choose how many I will print and this the first one.  
The print is signed. Will be posted in cellophane sleeve with backing board.  The print size is 25x16cm.full size 38.5x28.5cm. Post free in Australia
